The Le Meur Insulated Wall Mount Enclosure designed for use in climates where temperatures can be below freezing. This enclosure is installed over a vacuum breaker valve where the main water source is inside the structure. The Insulated Wall Mount is ideal for climates where irrigation is necessary throughout the year, but the temperature can go below 32 degrees for short periods. In addition, this enclosure can be used in climates where there is extreme cold for a long duration. In areas where the irrigation system is turned off in the fall and turned back on in the spring, this enclosure can protect if there is an unexpected freeze prior to being turned off or after being turned on.

The Insulated Wall Mount (18”W x 10”D x 18”H) fabricated in both carbon (A366 sht., 20 gauge) and stainless steel (#4 finish) has the following features:

• 1" Polystyrene insulation

• Continuous hinge and snap tight door fastener

• Foam weather seal, which seals backless enclosures against the exterior wall

• Removable plate at enclosure bottom to facilitate a supply pipe

• Options:

  • Keyed cam door lock​

  • Porcelain light base

  • Screw base radiant heater
